Haida Gwaii
In 2012, I began travelling to the island of Haida Gwaii to explore the landscape, the history, and the people. Formerly known as the Queen Charlotte Islands, this archipelago in Northern British Columbia was officially renamed with the establishment of the Haida Gwaii Reconciliation Act. I travel there year after year to record the stories and faces of those that I meet in this fascinating culture that is rapidly adapting to survive.
